After years of waiting for the perfect moment, the right words, and the ideal website, I realized that the perfect time is now, even as I continue to refine everything.
For over 15 years, I managed my investment and construction company alongside my full-time job, always intending to focus on it after retirement. I was so engrossed in my work that I rarely paused to appreciate the incredible projects we were creating. Each time we delivered a rental property, a new home for a homeowner, or a duplex or triplex for an investor, I knew we were making a significant impact on people's lives. However, it wasn't until recently that I recognized I was already running a thriving business that was growing even as I working long hours at my full-time job. The fear of leaving the perceived security of my job held me back until circumstances forced me to confront the reality that this security was an illusion. I won't deny it was a painful experience and realization.
Today, I am grateful for that turning point because it made me reflect on what I had been building quietly, without giving it my full attention, effort, and dedication. Despite this, the business continued to grow, thanks to the reliable, honest, and hardworking individuals I surrounded myself with.
I understand that the construction industry is challenging but brimming with potential for innovation. My goal is to expand our services into the commercial and government sectors, emphasizing the use of recycled and environmentally friendly materials whenever possible.
I am committed to doing this for the right reasons and in the right way. My experience in the automotive industry, which I hold in high regard, has taught me valuable lessons. I am immensely proud to run a business grounded in the highest levels of ethics, kindness, and responsibility. The best feeling in the world is to sleep peacefully, knowing that I made the right decisions, treated everyone fairly, and respected the world around me.
