Dan Dressman has been the Executive Director of the Home Builders Association of Greater Cincinnati since April of 2009. Prior to that he served for nearly a decade in a similar capacity with the Home Builders Association of Northern Kentucky. He began his housing association career with the Cincinnati Area Board of Realtors and has been involved in the housing industry for 34 years. He is a frequent regional spokesman on housing-related issues with the local media and author of numerous articles on land development, housing and community planning. His recently completed book, Homeward Bound, covers the 80-year history of the Home Builders Association of Greater Cincinnati. He has served on the Board of Governors of the National Association of Realtors Association Executives Institute and National Association of Home Builders Executive Officers Council Board of Directors.
Additionally, he has served as chairman of both the Ohio and Kentucky Association of Home Builders Executive
Officers’ Committees and as chairman of the Indiana Association of Realtors Association of Realtors Association
Executives Committee. He has also served as a member of the City of Cincinnati Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee and Permit Review Advisory Committee.Dan is also on the Construction Trades Advisory Committee at the Diamond Oaks Vocational Center. He has completed course work on a Ph.D. from the University of Cincinnati; holds a MPA in Public Affairs from the University of Cincinnati and a BA in Mass
Communications/Radio/TV/Film from Northern Kentucky University. He serves as an adjunct instructor of management at the University of Cincinnati. He holds the national designations of
Certified Association Executive (CAE), Building Industry Association Executive (BIAE) and Realtor Association Certified Executive (RCE). He and wife Donna, an educational consultant, are the proud parents of 3 adult children and grandparents to Oliver. They reside in Wyoming, Ohio.
